Elegant Romance at Château des Charmes

On their wedding day, Eric and his groomsmen got ready at an AirBnB while Darra and the ladies got ready in one of the beautiful villas at 124 on Queen. After getting ready, the ladies were first to arrive at Chateau des Charmes. After settling into the bridal suite Darra shared a First Look moment with her dad. After her First Look with her dad, Eric had arrived so Darra made her way outside so that her and Eric could have their First Look within the gardens at Chateau des Charmes.

Their ceremony took place in front of a beautiful floral arch on the lawn between the winery and the vineyards. It was a lovey ceremony which included the handsomest little ring bearers and a wine ceremony. Two different wines, a white and a rosé were poured together into a glass for Darra and Eric to take a sip from. This ceremony represents the two individual lives, combined like the two wines into one single life. The drinking of the combined wine signifies the commitment they now make to live their lives as one family.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the courtyard while listening to music being provided by a saxophone player. Golden hour and the sunsets at Chateau des Charmes are always so incredibly beautiful. So, during cocktail hour, you could see most of the guests heading out towards the vineyard to take their own instagram worthy photos in the most glorious golden light.

Once guests took their seats for dinner, the DJ announced in the wedding party and Darra and Eric enjoyed their first dance as a married couple on their custom monogrammed dance floor. Speeches took place between courses and at the end of the meal, guests were asked to come outside for a surprise. As soon as the guests were all out of the tent... the fireworks began! After the dance floor opened, Darra changed into her party dress and the foam glow sticks came out. Sun a fun end to such a magical day.
