Ashley & Zac - September - Kurtz Orchards

Niagara Wedding Planner

Beautiful Niagara Orchard Wedding

Ashley and Zac’s Wedding will definitely be one I will forever remember!!!  Not only was planning their Wedding with them a complete pleasure… but their Wedding day was an absolute BLAST!  It was one of those Weddings that had a lot of moving parts and if I am completely honest… I was kinda sorta worried that something would go wrong and throw off the entire rest of the day… But because I am a complete Rockstar (totally not tooting my own horn here)… Their day went Perfectly!

The ladies got ready in the Estate house at Gracewood Estates.  After they were ready, Ashley and her Father shared a First Look on the beautiful front veranda.  After her first look with her father, Ashley and Zac shared their First Look on the long driveway lined with beautiful mature trees.

After a few photos, they took a shuttle down to the Queens Park Gazebo along with their immediate family and wedding party for their Ketubah Ceremony and some photos along the water while guests were shuttled from their hotel to the Marketplace side of Kurtz Orchards where Mr. Kurtz was waiting with the Trolly to bring guests to the Ceremony at Gracewood Estates.

Ashley and her mother arrived in style via horse drawn carriage and had all of the guests in awe.  Their Ceremony was a beautiful Jewish ceremony within a Chuppah set up below a large pear tree in the pear orchard.

After the Ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour which included live music, a large charcuterie spread within the English Gardens and a Cigar Bar within the Cabernet Barn.  Guests were also encouraged at this time to write a love letter for the couple and place it within an antique suitcase.  They plan on opening up each letter and reading them on their 1 year anniversary. (how cute is that!)

After Cocktail hour, guests began boarding the Trolly which took them back over to the Marketplace side where their Cocktail style Reception would begin.  Guests walked along a red carpet as they entered the tent.  After their first dance, they had a HaMotzi where Zac's grandfather had a blessing over the bread before their meal.  Now to chat a couple moments here about the food...  OMG the food was incredible!  It was served tapas style but the potions were huge!  Seriously... check out the photo of their menu!  They basically had 7 full sized courses and then they got to enjoy the Dessert Bar which included a Smores station!!  After all that... they also had Poutine for late night!  Definitely not one of those Weddings where guests left and got Mickie D's because they were still hungry!

After some speeches and the Hora the Band had the dance floor rocking all night long and guests were provided with flip flops for dancing and shawls if they started to get cool during the evening.  Each guest also got to go home with a jar of jam made from the fruits off of the trees at Kurtz Orchards.  In NOTL there is a noise by-law... so at 10:45 guests got to enjoy an amazing fireworks display set to music... after the fireworks... the band switched to acoustic mode and set up outside of the tent on the outside dance floor beneath the strings of edison lights.  Guests really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere where they got to request songs and dance or sing along.  Perfect ending to a Perfect Day!

  1. Without Jennie there is no way our wedding would have work. She was a complete Rockstar, when my wife and I started this journey we thought we don’t need a wedding planner we got this. Looking back at it now, I have no idea how we could of done this without her! A lot of moving parts is an understatement, and somehow Jennie pulled it off flawlessly! We had so many people come up to us and tell us this that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. It’s not just the big things that Jennie does that makes the day special, but it’s so many of the smaller things that Ashley and I never knew about until days later. Whether it was getting back in touch with the shuttle company because a guest left a camera on the bus, or making sure our elderly guests had places to seat and were comfortable, Jennie just knocked it out of the park. If anyone is reading this is on the fence on whether or not to hire a wedding planner, do it. The things Jennie knows are all the things you think you know but really don’t, and the things that she does are all the things you don’t need to be worrying about on your wedding day!
