Thank you 2015!

A Divine Affair

Niagara Wedding Planner

2015 was such a great year for A Divine Affair... 2014 was such a busy year that in January of 2015, Martina joined A Divine Affair as an assistant and second planner. It was so great having someone to work with that is also so passionate about weddings and truly gives each and every wedding her all.  I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to trust anyone to coordinate a wedding to my standards... but I was SOOOO happy that Martina has gone above and beyond my expectations and truly become such an asset to A Divine Affair.  I couldn't be happier to have her going into 2016 with me as my partner in crime and wedding sidekick to kick butt on all of our upcoming weddings!

Not only did we get to plan and coordinate such beautiful weddings... but we got to build friendships with amazing couples and their families.  Our 2015 weddings were full of so much happiness and love.  I had weddings this year that I know will be among my favourites for years to come!

Thank you to all of our amazing couples that made 2015 such a wonderful year!  I really enjoyed working with you all, getting to know you as we planned your big day and witnessing true love at each and every one of your ceremonies.

I also want to thank all of the incredible venues and vendors that I have had the privilege to work with.  I love the relationships that I have built with so many beautiful venues and amazingly talented vendors.  It is so great to have so many friends in such an amazing industry.  I look forward to many more years and many many more weddings with all of you!

Here are some pictures from some of our 2015 Weddings...
Cheers to the end of 2015... Looking forward to seeing what 2016 brings us!

Julia & Tom - Vintage Hotels Niagara Elopement

Niagara on the Lake Elopement at The Vintage Hotels

Niagara Wedding Planner

Julia and Tom got married on Friday, November 13th in a lovely intimate ceremony with 20 of their closest family and friends.  The couple was planning on keeping the Wedding a surprise and weren’t going to tell their guests until the Wedding day.  They invited their guests down to Niagara-on-the-Lake to Queens Landing for an engagement Party Brunch.  At the brunch they announced to their guests that they will be getting married in a few hours and that they were to attend their ceremony.  Their ceremony took place in the Secord room at The Pillar & Post.  After the ceremony, family pictures were taken before Julia and Tom braved the cold and went out for some beautiful pictures of the two of them.  Julia and Tom met while sailing in Greece.  So, they just needed to head down to the harbour and take some photos by the sailboats.  After photos, they had a dinner for two ready for them at Escabèche at The Prince of Wales.  They spent their day visiting all 3 Vintage Hotels in Niagara-on-the-Lake.  My favourite part… You could just feel how much they love each other from the beginning to the end.
