"Fall" in Love at Ravine Vineyard

Alyssa and Jarrod were a couple I really enjoyed working with and getting to know throughout their wedding planning. While planning their wedding, I was fortunate enough to wear 3 different hats, as not only was I their wedding planner, but I also became their ceremony officiant as well as their honeymoon planner and travel agent.

Alyssa and Jarrod's love story began back in 2017 when Alyssa noticed Jarrod on Instagram. After some following and liked posts, Alyssa finally DM'd Jarrod and 5 years later... they became husband and wife. Their dogs Fetty and Rosalie are very important to them, so obviously they made a few appearances throughout their wedding day. Not only during the ceremony where Fetty was their "dog of honour" and Rosalie their "Flower Dog", but Jarrod also had each of their faces engraved into his cufflinks, they appeared on the cake, in an image on their invitation suite, on their cocktail napkins and of course had signature drinks named after them.

Their wedding day began at two separate Air BnBs with their respective wedding parties. After getting dresses, Alyssa shared a first look with her dad. Alyssa and Jarrod did not want to see each other until their ceremony. It was a beautiful and touching moment when Alyssa started walking down the stairs, down the aisle towards Jarrod. One of my favourite moments of a ceremony is standing up beside one half of the couple as they start to get emotional when their other half starts walking down the aisle towards them. Their ceremony included a love letter wine box ceremony which I absolutely love and honestly think its a must have when you are getting married at one of Niagara's wonderful wineries.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour out on the terrace as photos were being taken. The bridal party entrances were high energy and full of dancing. To be honest with you... the entire evening was full of high energy and dancing as Jarrod is a dancer, so him and his friends were sure to get the party started and keep it rocking all evening long. After dinner, we even had a dance off with Alyssa's side of the room facing off against Jarrod's side of the room.

One fun surprise that happened during dinner was something only a few people knew about and the bride and groom were not one of them. Alyssa's brother reached out to me asking for me help with a surprise wedding gift for them. I suggested a day-of edit and helped him make it happen. After dessert was served, the screen turned on and everyone was surprised by the amazing video showing all of the amazing moments that had happened so far that day. It was such a fun surprise and I believe the perfect wedding gift. I then helped Alyssa's brother send a second surprise for them during their honeymoon by arranging for a few bottles of wine and champagne to be delivered to their villa for them to cheers and celebrate becoming husband and wife.

Their wedding had so many beautiful details and personal touches. The invitation suite and day-of stationery was all gorgeous and matched perfectly, not only with itself but with the entire wedding. The invitation actually included an illustration of them standing in front of Ravine Vineyard and an illustration of their exact ceremony set up. Here is just a few other beautiful details: Wine glasses were personalized with charms, their love letter wine box was engraved with their names and wedding date, they had personalized take out bags for their late night doughnuts, their seating chart was a large display of glass lanterns, their cake topper was the two of them with their dogs, they provided hangover kits for their guests to grab on their way out and they had a beautiful memory table with a lovely saying inscripted on a beautiful mirror which was displayed behind photos of those celebrating in spirit.

It was an amazing day for an amazing couple!
