10 Year Vow Renewal

Niagara Wedding & Event Planner

Becky and Brandon's 10 Year Vow Renewal at Inn on the Twenty

10 years ago, just before the birth of their first child, Brandon and Becky had a simple wedding ceremony at city hall.  Since then, they have welcomed 5 children into their family.  They wanted to baptize their 5 children together and decided to do so along with a vow renewal to convalidate their Marriage within the Catholic Church.

The ceremonies took place at St. Patricks Parish which is their Church in Burlington.  First the Convalidation with the Baptism to follow.  The ceremonies were sentimental and full of readings by family members.  The 5 children got baptized from oldest to youngest.

After the Ceremonies, guests were invited to a Reception in the Vintner's Cellar at Inn on the Twenty. 60 of their closest family and friends gathered for a delicious meal and delicious wines that yours truly picked out... Mmmm... I can't tell you enough how much I love the Cave Springs Dolomite line of wines.  After Dinner, guests enjoyed music performed by a band and a beautiful sweets table.

Lovely Autumn Vineyard Wedding

Niagara Wedding Planner

Melanie & Michael's NOTL Wedding

Melanie and Michael has a super fun Alice in Wonderland themed Wedding.  They had a lot of DIY decor to really tie the theme together without it going over the top!

Melanie and Michael enjoyed their First Look at the Butlers Barracks in NOTL.  After their first look, the wedding party joined them for photos and a pint at Oast House before heading to the ceremony.

Their ceremony took place at Pondview Winery... it is the first wedding to ever take place at Pondview.  Guests were encouraged to arrive early for some wine tasting.  It was a lovely ceremony overlooking the vineyards in front of a lovely birch arbour.  The ceremony included a lovely letter wine box ceremony as well as a ceremony where they combined red wine and white wine into 1 and enjoyed a sip together to signify that once was 2 separate things... are now combined into 1 and cannot ever be separated.

The reception took place at Pillar and Post.  Guests found their seat by finding their key hung up on an old door.  (the key was actually a bottle opener which there were able to take home after along with a bottle of win) There was a Photo Booth also created with old doors and on it was the cutest little chair that Melanie made... and I was absolutely in love with... so darn cute!  The centrepieces were made with manzanita trees with, crystals, votives and flowers hanging from the branches.  Their table numbers were made from antique door knobs.  Each guest got a small jar of M&Ms which read "eat me".  The M&M's were clever because that is the initials of their first names.  The head table had a back drop created with strings of edison lights.  Their cake table was lovely.  It had handmade cake stands with delicious mini cakes decorated with Alice in Wonderland inspired items.  Nearly too cute to eat... but I totally did because it was delicious.

Melanie and Michael played the shoe game and entertained all of their guests... Also instead of doing a traditional bouquet toss... Melanie handed out a single rose to every lady in attendance.  Melanie's family led a ceremony in which they welcomed Michael into their clan and then everyone was entertained by a surprise sword dance performance from 2 Scottish dancers.
