A Sweet Autumn Brunch Wedding

Niagara on the Lake Wedding Planner

Leigh & Stu's Brunch Wedding at Queenston Heights

Leigh and Stu's Wedding is one I will remember for a long time.  It was one that really touched my heart.  It was so full of love and really inspired me.  Leigh struggled with cancer at a young age and she was worried she would never have a wedding day... but with hope and determination she had the loveliest wedding day with the man that stole her heart.  They met the cutest way... Leigh saw Stu outside one day playing basketball with his son.  Determined to make an impression.. she made him cookies!  Obviously it worked!  & seriously how couldn't it!

Leigh and Stu got up bright and early to get ready for their Wedding Day.  They had their First Look at the Mackenzie Printery at 8:30 am.  As guests arrived at their Ceremony they were greeted by the sounds of bagpipes.  Their Ceremony took place at 10:30 am with a Mimosa hour directly after within the gardens at Queenston Heights.

The reception tables were decorated with hollowed out white pumpkins filled with flowers.  The head table had a lovely piece of driftwood along the front.  During brunch, guests were surprised by a special guest.  A Soldier arrived and started asking the guests trivia questions about the war of 1812.  Afterwards, the guests were asked to join the soldiers outside to watch a musket demonstration.  As guests exited the Restaurant they walked through a Girl Guides Honour Guard.  Leigh is a group leader and some of her girl guides arrived to see her on her special day.

To end the morning, Leigh and Stu cut their cake and enjoyed a bite with the adorable forks that Leigh purchased from a craft show back when she was in high school and kept them to use one day on her Wedding day.
