Borghinvilla

Jamaica Tourist Board Fam Trip

Looking to escape to Jamaica for your destination wedding, but getting married at a resort isn't quote what you envision... look no further than Borghinvilla.  With an incredible view of the Caribbean Sea, Borghinvilla is the perfect venue for couples looking for a completely private and personalized venue for their wedding day.  They only host one wedding per day, which gives you access to the entire property on your wedding day and ensures the day will be all about you!  On site there is an air conditioned bridal suite for you to use while getting ready and relax in before you walk down the aisle.

Borghinvilla is centrally located to many resorts, making it a quick and easy drive for you and your guests on your wedding day.  The property is 2 acres of beautiful gardens and stunning seaside cliffs.  Borghinvilla can accommodate up to 200 people on your wedding day.  There are different packages to suit your budget and needs.  If you choose their Full Package, it includes everything except transportation, photographer, videographer & hair/make up stylist.  An added bonus to the Full Package is that they are happy to work with your choice of vendors without charging any additional vendor fees like resorts do.  You will love their North American service and design standards, mixed with the warmth of Jamaican culture.

Their ceremony location on the seaside cliffs of the Caribbean Sea offers stunning views  and comes fully set up for your wedding; including chairs, tables, ceremony arch, floral and aisle decor.  Their Full Package includes a beautiful white or clear topped tent, tables, floor length linens(available in several colours), DJ, Open Bar, Catering, fully staffed wedding, chiavari chairs and floral centrepieces.

The wedding menu is created by their Executive Chef who was formerly trained in the USA and has over 30 years experience in 5 star hotels as both an Executive Chef and Pastry Chef.  Their menu is fully customizable for allergies, food sensitivities or food restrictions such as gluten free, vegetarian and vegan.

Owner Jennifer Borgh is a fellow WPIC Alumni.  I have wanted to visit her beautiful venue for years and was super excited to finally get the chance to see it in person.  Unfortunately, it was raining during my visit to Borghinvilla so my photos really don't do this place justice. So below you will find a few photos I took as well as some professional photos by Merrick Cousley Photography, Chris Colyard Photography & RMP Weddings.  For more info about Borghinvilla, visit their website at www.borghinvilla.com

Tomorrow's post will be about the 3 excursions we went on:
Rick's Cafe, Green Grotto Caves and Dunn's River Falls.
