Day 5

On my last full day on the cruise, the morning began at 8 am with a tour of some of the Rockstar Suites and Richard's Rooftop which is only accessible to sailors staying in the Rockstar Suites.

After my tour of some of the suites, cabins and Richard's Rooftop, we headed off the ship to The Beach Club at Bimini.  The Beach Club at Bimini is a privately owned by Virgin Voyages. It's located in the Bahamas, and it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. It features a white sand beach, two pools, beach volleyball court, several bars and food service. You can spend the day lounging on the beach, sipping cocktails, or chilling poolside and enjoying live music.  All food eaten and non-alcoholic drinks enjoyed at the beach club is included.  Any beverages not included can be charged to your bar tab on the ship.

After spending the day relaxing at The Beach Club, we boarded the ship and got ready to go to the "Untitled DanceShow PartyThing".  On our sailing this interactive show happened at 7pm and again at 10pm.  We went to the 7pm in order to make our dinner reservations afterwards.  If you have more than one opportunity to see this show, go to the later one.  We were told that the earlier one isn't usually as exciting because there is less guests in attendance.  The show was INCREDIBLE and I couldn't even imagine how it could have been any better.  It is a hype music-video-meets-club-scene dance party with a dash of old-fashioned showbiz flair. The stage moves around and the dancers move around the room and completely takeover the space.  Don't miss it!  The energy these dancers put towards this performance is amazing.  I can't believe they perform it twice in the same evening.  

After the show, we had dinner at Gunbae which is the Korean BBQ restaurant.  It was so delicious and very filling.  Keep in mind that this dinner will take 2 hours or more!  They play a fun drinking game with you and when you lose you need to take a shot of Soju.  

After dinner, we went to On the Rocks for some drinks and then ended the evening at The Pizza Place at 2am for some very yummy pizza.

After grabbing our pizza, we said good bye to Jay and Joey who we were lucky enough to meet and spend time with on the ship.  Joey is one of the dancers and he was an absolute joy to watch in the shows... If you see him on board, be sure to say hi for me!

The next morning, we packed our bags and headed off the ship and directly to the airport.

 Virgin Voyages First Mate Familiarization Trip

Day 4

On day 4 of our trip we had another sea day.   This was a special one because it was Scarlet Night.  So, obviously I had to wear red all day.  I changed outfits 4 times throughout the day!  First outfit was not actually red... it was Neon Pink!  We had our 80's VHS Workout and boy was it fun!  We got decked out in our 80's workout wear and headed to The Manor for the fun aerobics workout to classic 80's songs.  Such a fun way to get the blood flowing and work off some of the food and adult beverages consumed throughout the trip lol.

After our workout, we decided to head to some of the spots on the ship that we wanted to get photos at while wearing red, such as the cargo net at the back of the ship and the walking track at the top of the ship by the Virgin sign. 

After exploring we laid out on the pool deck and enjoyed the music and fun party atmosphere that this area often has when the DJ is there. 

This evening we had the Duel Reality show which was amazing!  It is a show produced by the 7 fingers and is their fast-paced retelling of Romeo and Juliet with an elaborate circus twist. You watch as two groups grapple with the desire to rise above one another through graceful and death-defying acts.

After the show, we were hungry and dinner wasn't for another hour and a half so we went to The Galley and I literally stuffed myself with french fries and pickles.  So random but the fries were so incredibly yummy and so were the pickles! I couldn't get enough!  Dinner that evening was at Pink Agave which I was sooooo looking forward to.  Unfortunately, because I filled myself with french fries and pickles, we ended up leaving after our appetizers because we were so full!  Lesson learned: Do not fill up on any random food prior to dinner reservations no matter how hungry you are!

Guess what time it is... Time for the Scarlet Night Party by the pool.  Everyone dressed in red, surrounds the pool deck and enjoys the show.  Then sailors are encouraged to keep dancing on deck or if they feel so inclined, take their shoes off and dance in the pool.  Which of course I did!  The party continued in The Manor until quite late.  We left to give our feet a break and head over to On the Rocks for a couple of drinks.

Tomorrow is day 5 and our final full day of the cruise which was spent at the Bimini Beach Club.
