Happy 5th Anniversary!

In May of 2011 I started A Divine Affair in hopes of having the opportunity to bring a few couples Dream Weddings to life!

I had experience with Weddings for years before but was so excited to take a chance and start my own Planning Company!  After Getting my WPIC Certification in April 2011, I officially got my Business name and registered it on May 5th, 2011!  A Divine Affair was born and I spent all of my free time designing my website and marketing material.

A Divine Affair has come a long way in 5 short years!  We have rebranded and grown much more aware of the types of Weddings we want to plan and the couples we would like to work with.

We have had the opportunity to plan and coordinate over 100 Weddings and Events and 2016 is our busiest year yet!

In 2015 Martina came on board as my Coordination Assistant.  She was my right hand man at all of our 2015 Weddings.  She had also started coordinating weddings on her own.  Just this month... she officially became a WPIC Certified Coordinator herself!

This year has been such a great year for A Divine Affair... I got our very first office space.  No more home office or coffee shop meetings... It was a huge step and something I am super excited about and proud of!

To celebrate A Divine Affair's 5th year... Any Month-of Wedding Coordination Package that is booked before May 31st, 2016 will receive a huge discount of $105!

With 24 Weddings so far in the books for this summer... we don't have many available dates left... but yours may just be one of those lucky days we still have free!

Thank you so much to everyone that has helped me and A Divine Affair get to where it is today.  My Family's support and my Husbands help and love have had a huge impact on my success... Encouragement from my friends and family has pushed me to keep going and creating bigger goals... The amazing Vendors and Venues that I have had the opportunity to work with over the years have made my job even more enjoyable than I could have ever imagined.  The Niagara Wedding Industry is an amazing group of people to be included in and I consider so many of those amazing professionals not only Co-workers but also great Friends.

Martina: Welcome to A Divine Affair!

I would love to introduce you to the new member of the A Divine Affair team...

Martina is my incredibly lovely new assistant.  She is currently finishing up her Graduate Certificate at Niagara College in the Event Management Program.  She has previously graduated from the Honours Communication Studies and Multimedia program at McMaster University.

Martina is originally from Bulgaria and was living in Toronto before attending Niagara College.  Although she has only be living here in Niagara a short time, she absolutely loves the beautiful wineries and other wonderful venues so unique to our area.

A few fun facts...

 

Martina's favourite colour is purple (I personally think pink is a much lovelier colour but I won't hold it against her)

Martina LOVES sushi (dislike it myself... but once again, I won't hold it against her)

Martina loves Peonies, lilies and wild flowers... (Yay! I Love Peonies too!!)

She loves outdoor activities, especially hiking...  She loves nature and exploring new places

She loves animals, especially dogs and horses

She enjoys meditation and is an avid believer in peace and positivity

I am looking forward to working with Martina and excited to see the great things she will bring to A Divine Affair and to all of our future Weddings.
