Romantic Niagara Elopement

Niagara Wedding Planner
Esther & Brendan's Intimate Niagara Elopement

While we were planning Esther and Brendan's Wedding, things came up as sometimes they do!  Because of these things... Esther and Brendan decided upon an intimate elopement with just the 2 of them instead!

Although they were no longer having a traditional wedding with guests... they asked me to plan the elopement for them.  I was super excited because when we discussed their elopement, we decided it wouldn't be a plain, boring elopement... It was going to be fabulous!  First step... finding a great venue!  When we originally were planning their wedding, I had taken Esther to The Pink Door Boutique in order to take a look at rentals for their wedding.  Esther loved the space and made finding their Elopement venue so easy... How about we have it there!  Now they had the opportunity to get married surrounded by so many wonderful and beautiful rentals and they didn't have to pick and choose which ones they wanted to rent!

Esther and Brendan decided they would stay at a B&B and both get ready there in separate rooms.  After they were both ready, we went outside for their "First Look".  It was so intimate and romantic and there was pure happiness on both of their faces.

After the "first look"  we went to Malivoire for some photos and filming with Eva Derrick and Dave Tebbutt within the vineyard before heading to their ceremony.

Cathy Davis officiated the ceremony.  Esther walked down the aisle to Frank Pietrangelo from the Madhatters who sang along with his acoustic guitar.  After the ceremony, they enjoyed their "first dance" together as husband and wife and took some more photos around The Pink Door Boutique.

After a few last photos, Esther and Brendan sat down to a beautifully catered meal which included wine pairings for each individual course... and of course they were serenaded by Frank and his guitar throughout their entire meal.

It was the loveliest elopement I could have ever imagined and I felt really blessed to be able to plan something so beautiful and intimate and romantic for the 2 of them.

  1. I have been a wedding vender (Photographer) in the area for twenty five years and I have never been treated so well by a wedding venue like I was at this place. I am usually taken care of as a "last on the list" at venues, which I understand where the bride, groom and guest come first but the entire staff at DC wedding venues from the minute I walked in the door treated me so well.
