Emily and Ben's Inn on the Twenty Cocktail Style Reception
Let me first start out by saying that Emily and Ben are one of my favourite couples! Seriously... Not only one of my favourites that I've had the privilege of planning with.. but have ever met in my entire life. They compliment each other so incredibly well and the way they look at each other is pure magic. Emily and Ben are both teachers living in the Philippines. Ben originally from England and Emily originally from here... met by chance and I know deep in my heart that they will spend a lifetime together travelling and creating amazing memories.
Emily and her ladies got ready at Inn on the Twenty while Ben and his guys got ready down the street at The Jordan House. They used the funnest transportation... bringing their guests to and from the ceremony at Cave Springs Vineyards in a School Bus and Emily and Ben in a crazy adorable London Cab... a little detail to bring in where Ben and his Family are from.
The ceremony took place at the Escarpment site at Cave Spring Vineyards. Guests enjoyed a small cocktail hour within the vineyard while Photos were being taken. Afterwards the guests were invited to Inn on the Twenty for the Reception. They didn't want a typical wedding reception so we changed it up a bit and created a wonderful cocktail style reception.
Their receiving table was full of photos and treasures from their travels together. Just looking around you could really get a feel of who the couple is. Their cake was a delicious naked cake by Sweet Celebrations and their guest favours were tim Hortons Gift Cards all individually wrapped with a cute hand made paper bow. Corey from Patricks DJ Service had the dance floor rocking all night long.
Their Wedding is definitely one I will never forget... and not only because the Best Man embarrassed me more than I have ever been embarrassed before in my entire life... I am not even going to go into details... because the few people that know about his lovely speech are already too many people that know!
