they deliver an epic onboard experience for all. Experiencing this cruise line made me realize first hand how truly inclusive it is. You felt comfortable being yourself and having fun no matter your age, race, sexual orientation, gender or physical ability.
Over these 5 days, I am going to tell you all about my trip and the amazing reasons why I literally LOVED sailing with Virgin Voyages and highly suggest everyone checks it out!
On day two I was up early for First Mate training with other TravelOnly agents also sailing on the ship. Angela woke up and enjoyed breakfast at Razzle Dazzle. Razzle Dazzle is the vegan restaurant on board, which ironically has the BEST bacon. Yes, they have a "Naughty" Menu and at breakfast, they manage to serve the most amazing bacon! After training, Angela and I spent some time roaming around the ship and exploring. There is so much to see that you can't possibly experience it all during one sailing. We headed to the back of the ship to The Dock which has an amazing view and yummy smaller portion meals that you can enjoy outside on the deck while listening to some live music. After a bite to eat we threw on our bathing suits and headed towards the pool area to lay out in the sun and listen to the DJ playing music. For dinner we enjoyed the meal at "It's a Ship Show". They transform The Manor into a supper club, and guests enjoy a delicious 4 course meal while watching an old-school variety hour meets late-night talk show mash-up. It was a great show with humour and very talented acts.
We then enjoyed a second show called "Duel Reality" which took place in The Red Room. I absolutely LOVED this show so much that it literally brought tears to my eyes. It is a show created by The 7 with the use of ethereal technology and electrifying choreography. This edgy and beautiful production explores the significance (or insignificance) of incidental connection while on our own personal journeys. The dancing was beautiful and the singing was spectacular. I love how it also bends traditional gender roles and has men wearing female clothing while women wore suits. Love it! A show you definitely can't miss.
After both shows, Angela and I went to The Manor for some dancing. Upon entering The Manor, you obviously have to take photos within the iconic hallways of mirrors and lights. One of my favourite spaces in the ship! The dancers from the Duel Reality show arrived in style, all wearing silver and dancing with umbrellas and whips and other items covered in bright neon led lights. So fun! They really brought the party. I ended that evening with a Corona and All Day Breakfast at 1:30 am up in The Galley.
Enjoy some photos from Day 2. Tomorrow we have our first on shore day as we head into Cozumel.

Here I am at training... super tired from staying up late at the PJ party the night before.
This restaurant is The Test Kitchen. We were not able to get a reservation here. But I highly suggest you do if you can. It is a laboratory-like eatery that is party cooking lesson and part eatery. The menu is fixed and you don't actually get to see the menu in advance. You simply get to see the main ingredient that each course is made out of. It is definitely for the curious sailers with boundary-pushing taste buds. Each sailing usually has one menu for the first half of the cruise and a different menu for the second half.
Tomorrow is Day 3 where we spend our day in Cozumel
